Thank you TKO. That's interesting and would certainly explain things. I'll  look around the site and see if I can find anything about the precise scoring rules.

I don't know the exact  numbers, but I recall at one time reading that there was a difference in the points   awarded for cards that were moved by the player and cards that were automatically  sent up at the end of the game. 

RichInSoquel is right - There is something weird about the scoring here, at least some of the time. I was up to 75, with 29 cards still down the bottom when I finished, and the system just gave me a score of 91!  Shouldn't I have got 104, or am I not understanding the scoring correctly?
