I have been in mourning of the sudden loss of my husband for 2 years. I am now beginning to heal within, I want you to know that although I have been playing solitaire "silently", your sense of humor has kept me going. My solitaire friends, without knowing it have been a life line to me. We need your friendship! I am one of the very first solitaire Craving players. Way back when the game was new, I played an impossible game and solved it. I was accused of cheating to win it and my "win" was deleted. It was a dreadful feeling...why...because I did NOT cheat...I really don't know how to , in this game. But I kept my head high and stayed with the game. Why?...because of the friendship's that I was making in the game and I knew that I didn't "cheat." All I know is I played the game and won. Well...you have been playing the game and you are awinner...why/...because of who YOU ARE. You have a great following of friendships, don't allow them to be crushed by one. I am asking you to return to Solitaire Craving, so you will be there when I need you...Dee

Donna please don't go and leave us with only pretentious, patronising drivel to read instead of your help, encouragement and fun. This is a dreadful development. I can see why you would want to leave, however. I don't know how people can read Kenright's outpourings and mark them as helpful. I find that very depressing.

My times a slow, too, Bev, but it's still fun! Glad you enjoy the game.

I can't hope to compete if time is the criteria. I have a desk top computer with a regular keyboard - so it will always take me longer to play even if I go at top speed without thinking. But it's nice to know I am not rock bottom in terms of time to comlete the Solitaire game.

I'm with Donna. We are playing a game here. If it causes you to dredge up old traumas I'd suggest you play more and "talk" less. Traumas over the difficulty of putting mothers in rest homes are much more thought provoking and interesting than getting freaked out about having some posts go missing. If you're old enough to remember book burning, its seems odd to me that you would focus on that. Seems burning books was the least of what happened then. Feel free to delete. Promise, won't hurt my feelings. Just don't make Donna go away!
