Once I got to the part about the 9 and 9, I realized my mistake -- playing the 9 first (because it comes first) instead of the 9 (a couple of cards later). When I worked on this last night, I kept making that mistake over and over again ! But I finally got it right. Your work DID pay off after all ! Thanks ! ~~ 9 first ~~ !!

If you follow the clues. You get down in the dogpile to the 3. Before playing the 3 up your exposed cards along the 7 piles are..3 J 5 4 6 4 8 And the Ace piles are 2 2 A 3. I think the moves are 59 at that point. The 3 plays up etc switching to play up the 6 and 8. Now the 9 from the dogpile will play up exposing the 9. The 9 plays up. Then the Q comes down, the 6 plays up etc etc.

For the one offs. In addition to 5 first and 4 comes down. And 5 plays up and 6 first and 9 first. (All clues already given.) What was next for me was 4 plays up and 10 plays up.
