In case it helps anyone, make sure you bring down the 7. I initially got 134 but when I came back to work on speed, I kept getting 135 and didn't know why. After playing the game over and over, I finally figured out that I needed to bring down the 7 (even though the 7 is already there). It allows you early on to create a space for a King naturally by playing up the 2 (rather than by having to move a card to create the space).

ah, duh, putting the 5 on the 6....I see what you mean. I was bringing down the 5 so apparently it doesn't matter which red six you use....

Yes, Susan, 6 first, 6 goes straight up but needs to stay down long enuf for the 5.

Norm, I feel the same way about 1863. It will be the death of me! As for 1866, are you using 9 first?
