Alaska's Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis
This is the original thread, donna. It's a matter of Rachel's posts being erased. when as I have assumed she did that it brought the thread to the top.
thanks Rachel...still can't get the salmon cam but the others are absolutely gorgeous
I'm pretty sure if the posts had been removed they would be gone completely not just appear blank. I'm not sure what is going on unless Rachel erased them through edit.
Rachel, I have tried several times since you first mentioned it, but I can not get the salmon cam either. I have not had a chance to check out the you tubes you mentioned, but will soon. Hope you are feeling better! And I hope your Mom gets well soon. I know you must be concerned about her since you are so far away. I was glad to hear that you are flying to visit her. It will make you both feel better. Take care so you will be up for the trip! Also, still love hearing about Alaska. I never thought about it being such an interesting place as you describe. You open up a whole new world! xxxxxxxx
@dphifer: The SALMON project is by the Ubiversity in Fairbanks Alaska. Try to connect via the University website. ALSO If you Google SALMON you may find a link there also. I shall catch up with you in a few days. Love Karl
Is there something wrong with my computer or did someone delete Rachel's posts on this site? If so, may I ask why?
Rachel, You should not be embarrassed just because some people want to separate from the other 49 states. The way this government is running the country, I almost think we would be better off is Tennessee separated And, I did forget you were from CA. What a contrast in lifestyles. But, if you are happy, then that's all that matters! Has your husband ever been to CA to see how you used to live? I do not remember if you said where he was from or not. Anyway, I think you're life is exciting to hear about. I am not a cold weather person, so I do not think I could handle the conditions you live in. But, it would be great to visit. I have a friend who took a trip to Alaska and the pictures were beautiful!
Karl, thanks. I will try looking up the salmon project. Have a good evening!
Thank you Denise for answer. It is cold here. We have a cold snap before the groundhog will come out and tell us how long it will still last. I am sorry for Rachel. They are really cold there. Regarding the Aurora. You can also find it on YouTube. Also if you plug in AURORA or SALMON on Google it will also get you there. How are you? How is work? You seem to be busy and not as cheerful as you used to be. Anything wrong? Love K.
the question is, how did Karl's posts get reposted..look at the date on them. They just reappeared yesterday.
