AND you know the date We became a Confederation of Provinces and Territories July 1st 1867, to give you a wee bit more info So it was called Confederation Day for many years..but during my lifetime (can't remember when, there has been so much of it lol) they started calling it Canada Day!

Yes I do use the mouse that is plugged in, Lou and thank god for that possibility lol!!.. I am able to use the slidey thing for everything else, but have never figured out how to move cards with it. Often I would have liked to take my laptop in to bed with me..but I know I would go insane if I couldn't play solitaire with it. I know its possible..I just can't figure it out. (she said shamefacedly lol) So if I am ever without my additional mouse, I think my laptop will be taking flying lessons..which is what I think fizzbut was contemplating lol SuzyQ..I didn't know chiropractors could fix carpal tunnel.. live and learn. Glad he helped you!!!!

I think they have mouses ( or is that mice?) that plug into the laptops. I hate the little slidey thingy!

donna, I got carpal tunnel syndrome awhile back when I used the slide thing to play. I much prefer using a mouse, which I finally hooked up to my laptop, too, before I got my desktop. The carpal tunnel problem didn't go away until I had my second special wrist adjustment by my chiropractor many months later. I was always so concerned about getting my back adjusted I would forget to ask him about my wrist.
