It's a balmy 14F here in my corner of the world. When the sun is out, that's not too terrible.

I think Donna said it was -20 Celsius there when I posted a picture of it being 18F here with a tiny scattering of snow which is gone now.

Marguerite, I think you were saying it's cold up there.  

Marguerite, when you put an upper case c for celsius, it turned into the sign for clubs.

I have no idea what that was supposed to represent. Sorry folks!

Finger Lakes NY reporting.  5 below this morning, but not much snow. Heat wave to 30 this weekend.

half inch of snow - schools closed - current temp is 22 deg.    It's supposed to get down 18 tonight.   Folks are worried about frozen pipes.

It's very cold here but most of us don't care because it means there's skating on the Rideau Canal after having several years when it was too warm for the ice to harden.  It's a sentimental tradition to skate on the canal.

Too cold for me, but I'm REALLY glad I'm not in Canada where Donna lives.
