Oh SuzyQ, rain just makes for a good day to visit the mall which is what my husband and daughter and I did today. We had a great time and even ate dinner with our next door neighbor!!
Then when it's nice again, we'll sit outside and enjoy our new deck furniture during breaks from landscaping our new yard!!!!

I just talked to my girlfriend in Melbourne, and they postponed daylight savings by a month there this year..so instead of it being today..we have a way to go before it changes I guess.

Well, all of you snowed-in and rained-in friends, I guess you should have gotten on a plane to CA before many flights got cancelled. In San Jose area it's a beautiful, sunny 70ish day! We deserve it since we had such a terribly wet and stormy winter. I bought a big glass pot at Costco this week with bulbs stuck to the bottom and water up to their bases. Never saw these before, but thought it would be fun to try. They're growing like crazy and I can't wait until 14 or more pink tulips emerge. I had a hard time deciding what color to choose since I LOVE all colors of tulips. Had daffodils and gorgeous purple irises at my old house. Hope to be able to get all kinds of bulbs planted in my new yard by next year.

TKO - that's where I was going to guess it was. That's a really beautiful part of the country. Though I have to say it does look pretty here today (from inside). The sun will be out tomorrow. - ( huh, sounds like a good phrase for a song)
