Been bone dry here in SE TX. Lawn is quite parched., Either feast or famine. When it's been raining for a long while and ground gets saturated this time of the year, you can bet it is time for hurricanes to decide to start rolling through.

Yes, I've read that it's been bad a number of places. I've read about it in New York, since that's where my brother and sister-in-law live, but they're currently out of the country. We're having a rather large thunderstorm at the moment!

We got 2.5" of rain yesterday and that was small compared to other locations in the state that got 6 or 7".

Not yesterday, but I think we're going to have some storms this evening. It rained every day here for a long time. Then the sun decided to come out.
