Been working with 'puters since the PCAM days back in the 60s.   One thing that never changes "garbage in - garbage out".  That goes for data and programming.

No software lasts forever. I used to work with computers a long time ago but told one of my sons that I'm too old to keep up with all of the changes nowadays. Thankfully, he's able to do so. It was definitely challenging installing necessary updates - sometimes more challenging than others. I guess I'm think particularly about the Y2K updates. I worked on one in the early 1980s.

Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 software has been working for over 45 years so far, and they say the cure for Southwest's software problems is newer equipment and software?  Why does the user interface on my phone change every time I learn the latest version?

Are these the same folks who designed software for Southwest airlines?
