sciatica is the 'gift' that keeps on giving.  The steroids help, but not a total panacea.  Starting PT tomorrow with hopes that will help.  I was hoping I could get an epidural; but I do not have disc issues so that will be a last resort.  I absolutely HATE being confined to bed as I had so much surgery 6 years ago, it took 3 years to get back to normal.  But at least I can get up and take care of my immediate needs today so for that I am thankful.  And thanks to you all for kind words.  It indeed helps.

Stinky - re not playing in 5 days. You were missed. Know about the sciatica. Did you try one of those bands? I sleep in them only loosening occassionally to let blood flow until I get some relief. Wouldn't be without one. Swear by them.

That's a long time to be in pain stinky.  I hope the side effects disappear and you start feeling better.

for almost 90 days I have been blessed with a horrid case of sciatica.  Started a course of steroids today which made me YARG most of the day, but for the first time in about 2 weeks I could sit and eat a meal.  Then YARG all over again.  Have not played solitaire in 5 days until now.
