Sorry, I played the game and moved on.  I did it again on my third try, and here's what I found:  Resist all urges to play the five of hearts, wait for the 5 of diamonds.  Play the black nine in the far right pile first and it will reveal a red ten.  You need to play both red tens one after the other, but I have forgotten whether it matters which one plays first.  I am, as always, in awe of the fast players and low scorers.
