I think it is OK to put 3 on the 4 (briefly), can't make up my mind on the red 4's, although my 111 used the 4 first.

Now, back to the current game.   I got the J and not covering the 4.   But I'm thinking the red 4's have a lot to do with lower moves.   Anyone else got an idea about that?   

You may be right, Rich.  Since Ameche invented the phone in 1939 I reckon a lot of people confused the "oh" and "zero".   

Surely sometime since Don Ameche invented the telephone, someone has confused "oh" and "zero"...  

Rich In Soquel - heard it from a paramedic. Was never sure they weren't just being funny, in a Jeff Foxworthy kind of way. 

I think Larry is right.  I remember being told something like that in a CPR class over 40 years ago.  I think that was the official story, that they wanted to make sure no one was trying to find  eleven on their phone when in a panic.

All I know I did was J first and don't cover the 4.  No idea where the 104 came from. I'm sticking with 112.

Larryt  maybe it is something like: they advertise the emergency call number as nine-one-one because people were panicking that they did not have an eleven on their telephone.
