Rich, that would explain everything.   I don't remember seeing this post, but my age (turning 81 on the 30th) may have something to do with that.

I have a vague recollection that sometime in the hazy past, there was a post from the administrator(?) saying that you are rewarded for  how many card auto play up at the end, and maybe something about you are rewarded for how few times you've played a given game.  Of course, at my age I can convince myself that I remember almost anything...

I understand, Larry. And I doubt it will ever be corrected.

My move count was 81 with 1 card to move over and 23 cards to move up.   All cards are facing up.   Total moves should be 105.   Game counted total moves as 92.    No manipulating or cheating.   The program just does not count the cards correctly.

Experience has shown that scores can be manipulated -- intentionally, tcutt has demonstrated it more than once, or by accident. It's the only explanation for extra low scored that cannot be repeated.

And yet, we play on.

Thanks for clues!  I'm still suspicious of the scoring.  I swear I made the same moves twice, and the count was 8 higher the second time.  There must be some other factor at play.  Precise phase of the moon?
