Unfortunately yes. My husband teaches senior high-five maths three days a week. A school in Adelaide, South Australia, closed today. A student unknowingly had the virus and a teacher then caught it. I’m angry with our Federal and my State governments for not shutting schools down. I think it’s irresponsible.

I’m in Fairfield County Connecticut. Same restrictions as NY State. Keeping busy around the house and going for long walks. No choice but to wait it out. Stay safe everyone.

We are fortunate out here in the country.  Staying away from people  is easy.   We went shopping at 6:30 this morning and saw very  few  people.   This afternoon we watched Jeanne Robertson videos on YouTube.  She is a very funny  lady and her stories are clean.

New York state seems to be the epicenter of the virus in the United States. Since I’m one of the dreaded “elderly with underlying health issues,” I’m lying low with my blind, deaf dog for company. We have great conversations - if a bit one sided. No, I’m not going crazy - just trying to keep my sense of humor, weird as it might be.
