Be that as it may, fizzbut, I've played and replayed several games and my best time thus far was 1:44, on one of the easiest games on the site. I actually don't much care what times I get or what my score is, I was trying to frame my admiration for you gurus of solitaire in amusing prose.

I think I figured out the Columbus Day deal. Congress came up with it and since they probably don't really get anything done on Fridays it really wouldn't be like taking a day off if they celebrated it on Friday. Of course they'll probably take Friday off too which makes even more sense.

Ellen84 it takes playing the game numerous times to get near the fastest times or maybe its just a bullheadedness to not know when to quit till your hand can't move anymore.

I am convinced some of you are not human. Anyone who can finish some of these games as fast as you do must come from outer space! And you must have 20 fingers and a brain with a processing speed three times what I've got! But wait ... what if I'm the alien, and my species just happens to stink at solitaire. Columbus Day is on Friday this year so we celebrate it on Monday so we can have a 3 day weekend?
