I like the old game best.  Less eyestrain - felt more friendly. 

I just do not understand how this game works when it comes to counting the cards.  I managed to play BOTH black nines over and the 8 up and my score ended up being FOUR points higher.  Grrrrrr . . .

James, I don't know what to tell you because I've played this so many different ways.  The one thing I know for sure is that the 8 plays OVER so you MOVE the 8.  Maybe that will help.  

In playing 10 10 1st, I ended up having to play 8 up 9 10 over. Somehow you are to play 10 8 1st and end up with 77.

Donna, I can play that way and get 85. How Robin and Susan have what they have is another story.

Did you try 10 and 10 first. It's a really easy misslanny. It seems unlikely but it sure worked for me. 

Found missy for 90, I give up!

Really wish I could make the clues work for 77 and a no flip game.
