Chuffy - don't know about 'astute' but I love the friendliness and support on this site (plus the cards, of course) and I get annoyed at anything that might spoil that. As to Spain: now retired, we're able to go off-peak 3-4 times a year. Have been to Nerja and loved it even though it rained for the 3 days we were there (late Oct.). Go mainly to Malaga as it's a short flight and Malaga's a lovely city. We have short hols because can't be away too long from home. Keep an eye on 90-year old (v independent) mother in law. Have a rota with brother in law who steps in when we're away. Will remember name of restaurant. Love Spain, and paella, and Rioja and sun - could go on!

dphifer. I know what you mean. I have 3 girls now in their 40's but they are still my babies. I also have a son but he is the BOY and not my baby. My wife and I are managing OK. Thank you for your concern. When one gets to be as old as we are, problems of that nature are natural occurences and we just have to live with it. So far all is well and we don 't have any special worries. LOL Karl

Most ov the time somebody picks up the incomsistencies in their presenation and fingers them. S.pamala, You do very well typing and using a computer. Who taught you if you could not go to school? Did you learn to play solitaire with cards when you were young? I am curious....I wouldn't have thought women and girls would be allowed to play cards. What did you do as a young girl?
