lol Thanks Dale!! I do love our spring garden best of all! And thanks about Tippy, too ! My little ginger shadow... Oh what an interesting life he must have had!Amazing what carries on in the blood isn't it? Clearly, salt water in his!! He must have been thrilled to become a captain after working in the shipyards so long! Both my great grandfather and my step great grandfather worked on ships out of New Brunswick. One was the cook and the other either a purser or ship's carpenter, I can't remember. My great grandfather fell through the hold and broke his back and Daddy Ben was his best friend and he made him promise to take care of my great Granny as he was dying... and he married her and took very good care of her and the whole family. Last I saw him he was over 100 and lived in his own house still and had just made fresh bread!! I don't know at what age he stopped going to sea..but he loved it. Both, Donna...he worked in shipyards all his life and became a captain later on. Chad hardly remembers his grandfather, guess it's just in his blood, lol. Donna, I love your garden pictures that you have on facebook, very nice!! And Tippy of course, the star of the show!
