Norm, believe it or not, it's a misslanny and we never even said so !! At one point, you play back through the deck to the 5 at the bottom. At move 73, you have the J at the deck. Aces: 7 - 4 - A - 3. From left to right: 8 - 10 - 6 - 7 - 3 - 9 - 9. Hope this helps !

I understand what you're saying, Lynn, about everything playing up at the end. The key is, if a card is singled out to play "up", that means that it plays up to the Ace pile, as you say, "from its original position".

I think if you say plays up or over that means from its original position. Although after giving detailed clues I will say at the end to play up and over the remaining cards meaning no more moving from where they currently are, whether that be their original position or not. I think I'm gettin' myself confused so I'd better stop now!!

This is why we need to standardize our Solitaire terminology or have further explanations on cards that play up. All cards down below eventually play "up", most of them after they have been moved from their original position. But when one card is singled out as playing up, it means that it doesn't move until it plays up. To me, this explanation applies whether you say the singled-out cards plays up or plays straight up. Does anyone agree or have an opinion on this?

Yes, I misunderstood. She said "Q up for 124. I can't figure out what they're doing for 123," I thought she was playing it up the way I was. Pretty dumb of me. This is why I shouldn't even be playing.

Well, now you know about the Q! You must've missed Margaret's earlier clue about it.

You must be moving the 7 or 8 to make room for the K. They both play up and there's a natural space that opens for the K.
