Thanks again Fizz. Your clues have always been seen by me as a guide to the "nuances" of this game and not as instruction, though at times the two can be indistinguishable...

Fizz, meant to tell you that after I found the A, it unfolded as you said -- "that's when you can start playing back through the deck." I think that's the first time that I've actually been able to do that myself, even though I was reading it in the clues! See? I'm still learning, taking baby steps! Thanks again!

O.K., Fizz! The clue for the J first really helped a lot -- so I could actually find the A to play the 2!! YEA!! Did you play the 10 even though you don't cover it or the 10 first instead? I don't know what I did wrong or different but everything played up after I played up the 8 . . . ?? Well, I still only got down to 142 but that's 9 better than what I had done! Now I can go back and try to fine tune the path that I finally found to the end -- with your great clues!! Thanks !!!

10 has to play up straight. The best idea is not to cover it.

57 when you use the K first you should be able to play down to the A to free a space for the K (which means J first) and that's when you can start playing back through the deck, which should get you the Q down to play the J on. 2 will play up straight when it gets uncovered.

Fizz, what order were you playing the Kings? Were you still going with the K first? 7 first? I kept ending up with the J stranded on the far right with several cards left underneath. How did you play the 2?

Late to the game, even later than usual. After a horrible, no good, terrible day at work. This whole unemployment thing is so wearing on all of us. Hope the economy picks up soon.
