Norm - my prayers are with you and your family. Judy - loss of a pet is like the loss of a family member. I love my animals and have suffered along with them in the illness and grieved for them when they pass. I am sorry for your loss.

dogsitter- I've had dogs too - loved them all! I started with a pair of kittens, added a shepard - found a stray mutt - shepard died at 13 yrs- cats died at 15 then 17 yrs - got a new cat - found a stray shepard who died young of leukemia and skin cancer - the 1st stray died at a 17+yrs and now the last cat at 17 yrs. 17 seems to be my limit with pets! There's my pet history in a nutshell! I've always had multiples until this last cat. I felt she deserved to be the only one after dealing with the dogs (which she "ruled" by the way She didn't care for other cats at all... ANYWAY -pardon my rambling! THANK for listening.
