today pres obama made world history... he agrees that all people have a right to marriage....we are a country that was built on separation of church and state and equality and freedom for all... if we are all equal then we should be all equal.... a marriage is between 2 people that love each other and a family is a group of people that live together and love each other no matter who they are or what they may seem to others....

Marriage is a LEGAL issue not a religious one. No clergy of any faith can marry a person in our country without being sanctioned by the state. It's not the other way around.

We already have same sex marriages in some states. How have these marriages affected heterosexual couples? They haven't! It's time for us to live our own lives the best way we can and let others do the same.

however sues sis let me tell you that many a church has married couples without a license so they can collect child care medicaid and money back from taxes and food stamps as single parents.... i have had coworkers who have had it done and have admitted it to me and my husband knows a lady who also is only married by the church and rakes in the money and benefits from our taxes.... its up to the agencies to check out these people and they dont...

What are the agencies suppose to check out? If they were married without a license they are not legally married and they can legally collect these benefits if they qualify financially.

sues sis..... they qualify for the help BECAUSE they claim single parent.... if they were married it would show two incomes and would not qualify for the monetary aid....also there should be drug testing.... not clean no money.... government aid should not go for drugs....just like they say you cant buy soda or detergent with food stamps drugs should not be bought with government aid either.....its not easy to do this.... but some people take their government check and sign it over for jewelry etc.....
