Picture help
I created my pic of my son smelling my husband's feet shortly after I joined this site a LONG time ago. I just tried to remember how to do it and thought I succeeded, but obviously I didn't. Can someone help me. I made sure the pixel size was 100x100 and then tried to upload it. it would show up but then when I went to the main site to play, it was gone.
Once you get your pic changed, make sure you click the update profile button at the bottom of the page.
Sometimes you need to refresh the page once you're done to see the new picture. I see a new picture of a dog. Is he/she a lab?
Yes, the picture was there yesterday, but not today. yes, she is a black lab mix. Her name is Ava. She's 8 and a half months old.
Ok. so when I update my profile at the bottom after changing the picture, it will stay the dog picture until i leave the site. After I leave, it changes back to the picture of my son. Any solutions?
chilliemander, it's been your dog picture for the last couple of days. It would appear it's only on your computer that it changes back. Try hitting refresh after you go back to the game page.
On Firefox it's called reload.

Don't know if anyone is reading this anymore, but I'm having the same problem. I've tried to upload a picture and followed the instructions and suggestions, but it's still blank on my screen. Don't know if it's just my 'puter or if it's blank on everyone else's 'puter. Any suggestions?
I think I had a similar problem way back when I joined. Make sure the picture is in .jpg format before uploading it.
Yup, NanoResistor, it's in jpg. I even downloaded Firefox thinking that might help, but still come up blank. I'm beginning to be paranoid (that's two noids).
@LaWaTaylor when I looked at the properties by right clicking on where your avatar should be it says the type is text//html rather than a jpeg whereas the properties of Nanoresistor's avatar say that one is a jpeg so could you have saved your jpeg in a different format before putting the link to it on your profile page?
Keggie, good point. I'll have to check that out and see if I made a change, which is entirely possible. My "rememberer" does not work like it use to work. That happens with "age". Thanks for the input.
Lawa, Are you sure you've giving it time to upload completely. It takes a few minutes which seems like days when you're staring at a computer screen. Anyway, that was my problem at first. Hope it helps.

Well, I've got a picture uploaded. I guess the picture I was using was just not acceptable to the site.
