I am new to the site and I was wondering if there is anyway to pause a game. It would be very helpful if I could because sometimes I need to stop playing for a moment and then I have hurt my time in the process

Welcome to the site Kendra Lee, but sorry there's no way to pause a game. I believe it's been discussed in the past but I think the feeling is because you can play a game as many times as you want without penalty that the need to pause isn't really there. Kendra, no you cannot pause a game and I don't think you ever will. As @fizzbut pointed out, we have had many discussions about this and have come to the conclusion that it could bring on a new generation of cheating

well If your on a lap top, i just close it and it stops the time. I am on a mac - so not sure if it works with all. I sometime have my 2 yr old that will close my computer on my game or needs a diaper change , but really I just let the time run, or close the computer.
I just love to play and see what I can do, and have fun.
