The Christmas Tree
If you are interested in a really great Christmas movie (and get INSP - the Inspiration Network), check out "The Christmas Tree". It will be on tomorrow night (Monday, December 16, 2013) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. If you miss that one, it will probably be on a few more times before Christmas. I do not know if you might find it on other channels.

Good news ! Some kind soul obtained a VHS copy of "The Christmas Tree" and uploaded it to YouTube !! I just watched the beginning of the Christmas Tree and I've actually seen it before. Is it the one with Andrew McCarthy? Or is there a new one out of the same name? You are right.. it's a very nice Christmas movie. Remember it well !!!

It stand for uplifting, they show all kinds of movies, some are classic, some are newer, family type movies, and they are all rated G... It is a nice addition to the channel lineup.

I have DirecTV with a similar channel called Inspirational Network (INSP). Does the U Channel have things like Dr. Quinn, The Waltons, Matlock, Bonanza, The Big Valley?

Sorry, I stand corrected, they show tv programs like 7TH Heaven...channel 538 UP. The other channel is 569 UHD which has programs like House, Monk, and movies...
Susan, I dont know what package you have, but when I signed up, it was the $39.99/mo. and it enables me to get High Definition channels, 565 HLMKHD which shows movies and Murder She Wrote, Perry Mason, Matlock, 566 HDNM shows movies, 567 MGMHD shows movies, 568 SONYHD shows movies, 569 UHD shows movies, House, The Unit, Monk, Action Sports, and Golf. Quite an array of programs...
My guide does not show those channels, James. I wonder if DirecTV has different lineups in different areas.
Susan, if you do not have a HD Receiver, you will not get those channels...
Also, you have to program the guide in settings to add those channels, I set mine up in Custom 1...
Well, I do not watch enough TV to go through all of that.
Ok then...I do not watch much either, that is why I am on solitairecraving...
