Country Music
If you love the old country music from the 70s and 80s, do you get the "Country Legends" radio station in your area? If not, you can find it on-line at "CountryLegends1037.com". They play many of the oldies by George Jones, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, some Elvis, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Lee Greenwood, Randy Travis, The Judds, and more. Check it out !
I listen to Country, but I like the new Country Rock songs, 99.9 KRKT on-line...
This is out of Danville,VA which is why I gave the web address. I thought that maybe Claudine might be interested.
I will give it a go..
Pretty awesome station, I have it on right now listening to Dolly Parton...
Great, James ! Glad you are enjoying it. We are on opposite sides of the country and listening to the same music ! Awesome !!
That is totally cool Susan !! >>>
Now if I coud just get the game from yesterday to play as good as this station, I would be set...
The music helped me see my way to finally find that move !!
The old "Blues" and the "Spirituals" are also worth listening to and they also help to find the right moves. May be after the Jokes Forum, we coulod start a Music Forum.
Oh @zaphod, that would be a little much, not to mention taking up space...
Maybe anyone who wants to could start it, and whoever is interested can participate.
I love the old classic COUNTRY music,to me it was the only music that could go by that name.I was on TV when I was fifteen with my aunt and uncle, they had a square dance team and I was a member. The night we danced the floor was so slick we had to tape the soles of our shoes.Little Jimmy Dickens taped my shoes for me.He performed on the show that night. We had great time and it was a night I will never forget.
I am now listening to Countrylegends 1037.com,I am listening and playing solitaire at the same time. Thanks for the info.
Great, Claudine !! You were the main one I had in mind when I decided to post the website. The music probably does not go back as far as you would like but they do play some really good oldies !!
Thank you so much,we went to The Grand Old Opry in1956, and we had a great time. I like love songs and I read books that have love stories.I also like mystries and I dearly love Amish books. Thanks again.
A good song by Taylor Swift is called Red, great tempo and beat...
Hey, Claudine, I got hooked on Amish books, too! They have some really nice ones centered around Christmas. ~~ James, I have not heard "Red". I will look it up on YouTube when I get a chance.
