PatLogan100, You mentioned in previous posts that you were in IT and so on. Could I please ask you for a little help? My 14 year old daughter wants a lap top for Christmas. It would be mostly for school work and some light game playing. Do you have any suggestions? Also, I do not have wireless internet, but some said there is a way to have the laptop work at home with some kind of connection. I do not know what they mean. They said they don't have wireless internet, but their lap top worked in another room from the computer that had internet access. Is this true? I appreciate any help you or anyone else can give since I struggle from check to check and want the best lap top at the lowest price

HP makes a commercial lap top for about $500. It does not come in colors but is pretty tough and come with a great warranty and Kaspersky anti virus. I found it in a local mom and pop shop that does sales and repairs. Not available in Walmart or Best Buy or any big box store or on line.
