Conflict and War vs Solitaire.

by chuffy » 2012-08-31 12:27:44 #5219

Why do we, those of all religions, beliefs and faiths, trust each other? Playing a simple game like solitaire, has brought us all togehter. Yet the name of the game is Solitaire, is that not to be alone, or as one? I believe that we can and will overcome anything that the world (good, or bad) can throw at us. Be brave and be strong, my fellow Solitaires! Life is for living don't you think?

Dear Chuffy: Nobody can ask this question better. I am 84 year old and survived WWII (barely), and thought that we have learned the lesson and we will now share this precious earth among all humanity inj peace and tolerance, and there will be no more hatred, prejudice, hurting and war. Yet since then there has not been not one minute where somewhere was not a war or killing or fighting a minority or anybody who was not liked or just labelled as something "bad". Look not even in art and sport is being avoided to fight or demean or to protest again. VERY SAD BUT TRUE Karl
