Saam - interesting to read your update. Wondered if you liked (or hated) Jon English in The Pirates of Penzance? It was was shown a few months ago here on Sky TV and it changed my opinion of Gilbert & Sullivan. I'm 'of mature years' (old) and I loved it and I've seen rave reviews of it by young people on You Tube as well.Seems that G and S purists hate it.
